A heartfelt thank you to you all for our kind gifts. Our greatest pleasure was teaching your children this year.
God bless and take care enjoy the summer holidays,
Mrs Kahraman, Mrs Tolfree and Miss Todd
Year 4 had a wonderful opportunity to take part in an all-day Roman workshop,
which included drama, singing and quizzes.
This week at school, Year 4 travelled with Jesus on his journey
to the cross by re-enacting the Stations of the Cross.
Year 4 have been invited to take part in the Artsmark Creating a Change with Youth Voice project. This is an incredible opportunity for our class to produce creative representations of their hopes for a post-lockdown world.
The children worked hard on their creations. This is an amazing opportunity to support our children’s mental health and wellbeing by using creativity to look ahead into a bright future.
You are also able to view the submissions on the Artwork Instagram page.
Dear Year 4 Parents,
The children have already settled well into school life and are happy to be back with their friends. This socialising is very important and we have encouraged talking in groups and one to one as much as possible.
New home reading books will be taken home every Monday. These are to be kept all week and returned on the Friday. Reading Records will also be collected on Fridays and checked ready to be handed back on Mondays with the children’s new books.
Our P.E. days are Tuesday and Friday. Please make sure the children come into school in their P.E. kit. Our spelling test takes place on Fridays. The children have already been given a booklet with all the spellings until half term. It is also vital that the children practise their times tables which will be tested daily as part of ‘Times Tables Rock Stars’.
If you have any concerns please come and see us during the drift in time of 8.45-9.00am. A parents meeting will be arranged before half term to talk about your child’s further progress.
Thank you for your ongoing support, Mrs Kahraman, Mrs Tolfree and Miss Todd.
