Home Learning News

During Spring 1 we have been making sure that even though some of us are learning at home, we are still being as creative as we possibly can be with our learning on Purple Mash.

Here are a few pictures for everyone to enjoy. We're so lucky to have such creativity within our families and staff.

Scholastic Reading Pro

Dear Parents and Children,

Getting hold of books to read is a challenge at the moment with schools and libraries closed, so we are pleased to let you know that Scholastic have made their online reading library free whilst schools are closed.

The Scholastic site offers a variety of fiction and non-fiction eBooks to read, as well as quizzes to complete.  There are videos located in the videos section of the website to show you how to log on and access the available resources.

Please do contact us if you have any further questions.

VE Day - Year 5

Last week, Year 5 were learning about VE Day. They wrote a newspaper article as if they had been there and imagined themselves as soldiers fighting during the war. In preparation for lockdown tea parties on Friday 8th May, they made bunting and paper hats.
