The whole class wrote and performed on stage a poem based on the winning book by Michael Morpurgo.- 'Half a Man'. (two of the photos show the children on stage with Michael Morpurgo and the Deputy Mayor)

Some of the children from Year 4 and 5 attended a fantastic Steel Pan workshop at Northern Parade Junior School and thoroughly enjoyed it. The children made fantastic progress during the workshop and the leader was very impressed with their musicality

Asia had some help from her Nan and made the whole class some delicious samosas. We had a real taste of India!
Dominika and her Mum made a stunning model of the Taj Mahal using polystyrene! It must have taken them ages to carve all the lovely details. Eryk has been busy making a Taj Mahal entirely out of fondant icing!He has also made a very stylish waistcoat using recycled paper…..thanks to his Mum for all her help.
Cameron has been the ‘Class Scientist’ this half term. He demonstrated his bouncing egg to us all. He had soaked it in vinegar overnight which made the shell soft. It was amazing!
We had a fantastic day out when we visited the South Downs Planetarium in Chichester. It was a great end to our topic on the Earth, Sun and Moon.
