We had an 'Eggciting' Day in Reception. First we looked carefully at the properties of eggs, then Mrs Beaton challenged us to make a parachute that would deliver an egg safely to the ground when we dropped it

We went to Tesco Extra Fratton where we went on a healthy eating trail. Callie showed us lots of different healthy fruits and vegetables

We found some pictures of cheeky Fireman Sam hiding in lots of different places. We wrote sentences to say where he was.
We looked at different gloves and chose the pair that we thought would keep Fireman Sam's hands dry

Vets help our pets, we had a visit from two special guests Rosy and Amelia the guinea pigs,
When we came to school today we found that a beanstalk had mysteriously grown in our classroom! There were some giant footsteps too!
We used instruments to retell the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. I wonder if you can guess which instrument we used for the Giants footsteps?
