Our visit to ASDA 28.04.15
This week we have been reading the story ‘Oliver’s Vegetables’. To help us to understand the story in more depth, we went to ASDA to see a range of fruit and vegetables. We each chose one to buy and take back to Nursery. We are now going to try to make vegetable soup and fruit salad!
Autumn Term 2014
December 2014 -Well done to Nursery for their wonderful performance this afternoon!
Well done to all the Nursery children for their fantastic Nativity performance this afternoon, I am very proud of you all, you have all worked very hard.
I am amazed by the amount of support we have received from parents over the coming weeks, by preparing their costumes and attending the production today, so I would like to say thank you very much, your support means a lot to us here at St John’s.
I hope you enjoyed watching the performance as much as we enjoyed creating it.
We had a go at using Numicon. We put the Numicon in gloop and watched the gloop move through the holes in the tiles. We were able to count how many holes were in each tile! Our fingers were very messy!
Victoria Park 12th December 2014
We had a lovely time at Victoria Park on Friday afternoon. We only managed to collect one pine cone! We think the squirrels must have taken them. We had a look at the animals and stopped to see the water fountain, then had a quick ride on the red train before walking back to Nursery. We were ready for a rest and our snack when we got back!
November 2014 - Children in Need - Superheroes!
Children had lots of fun dressing up as their favourite superheroes. Here are some photos of what Nursery got up to….
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for you kind donations!
